Learn to Hear It. Find It. Play It.

One of the biggest things I want to help guitarists develop is the ability to figure things out for themselves.

I don't have perfect pitch.

I taught myself how to listen to songs I've never played before, work out what's happening and find it on the guitar.

That's a skill you can develop too.

Through GuitarPush Guided, we'll work on your ability to:

• Hear melodies and find them on guitar

• Recognise major and minor sounds

• Hear chord movement

• Identify common chord progressions

• Work out riffs and melodies

• Start transcribing music

• Learn songs without always relying on TAB

And we'll apply those skills to real music you actually want to play.

Your Guitar. Your Goals. Your Programme.

This isn't a generic course where everyone follows the same path.

At the beginning, we'll establish:

• Where your playing is now

• What you're already good at

• What you're struggling with

• Your musical interests

• Your goals

• How much time you realistically have to practice

From there, we'll create a direction for your year.

I'll help you decide what to work on next rather than leaving you with an enormous list of things you could practice.

Your Monthly 1-to-1

Every month you'll have a 40-minute private session with me.

We'll use the session to:

Review — What have you worked on?

Listen — What has improved? What's still causing problems?

Teach — What do you need to learn next?

Plan — What should you practice over the coming weeks?

You'll always leave with a clear idea of what you're working towards next.

Your Personal Practice Plan

I'll help you turn your goals into something you can actually practice.

Rather than:

"I need to get better at guitar."

You'll have:

This month, we're working on these three things.

And we'll break those down into manageable practice.

Whether you've got 20 minutes a day or two hours, we'll work around the time you actually have.

Learn Songs For A Reason

I'll recommend songs based on what you need to develop.

So instead of simply learning:

"Here's another song I like."

We might choose a song because it develops:

• Chord changes

• Rhythm

• Fingerstyle

• Barre chords

• Ear training

• Riffs

• Improvisation

• Fretboard knowledge

Every song becomes part of your development.

Support Between Sessions

You won't be left on your own for the rest of the month.
