No. We review every submission and only accept songs that we think will make an interesting and useful GuitarPush lesson. Submitting your song is completely free and there’s no obligation to purchase a feature.

We’ll get back to you with the next steps. You can then choose the Artist Feature package that works for you. Once everything is confirmed, your feature will be scheduled for GuitarPush.

No. Wherever possible, the first time James hears your song will be when the camera is rolling. That genuine first listen is an important part of the What This Song Teaches You series.

No. Artist Features are paid collaborations, but payment doesn’t buy a positive review or endorsement. The reaction and breakdown are genuine. You’re paying for the dedicated GuitarPush feature and the content included in your chosen package.

Anything that could make an interesting guitar lesson is welcome. Rock, country, indie, pop, blues, folk, singer-songwriter and plenty more. It doesn’t necessarily need to be heavily guitar-based — if there’s something interesting for guitarists to discover, send it over.

Not at all. Submissions are welcome from independent artists, bands, managers, record labels and music PR companies.

Yes. If your song hasn’t been released yet, include the planned release date with your submission and we can arrange the feature around the release.

For packages that include TAB, James will create a GuitarPush TAB/resource covering the guitar parts explored in the video, giving viewers something they can use to learn and play your song.

Full Campaign short-form videos will be published across GuitarPush’s short-form platforms, including YouTube Shorts, Instagram and TikTok.

Artist Features remain editorially independent, so we don’t offer creative approval of the finished lesson. We will, however, make sure factual information, artist names, song titles and agreed links are correct

Turnaround depends on the current GuitarPush schedule and your chosen package. We’ll confirm an expected timeframe before you make any payment.

Yes. Your feature will include agreed links to your music and artist pages so viewers can easily find you and listen to the original track.

Artist Features are intended to remain permanently on the GuitarPush channel. However, we can’t guarantee permanent availability in circumstances outside our control, such as copyright claims, platform changes or legal requirements.

There’s no charge for submitting a song. Not being accepted doesn’t necessarily mean anything negative about the music — it may simply not be the right fit for a GuitarPush feature at that time.

Absolutely. If you’re interested in featuring several songs, an EP, an album or multiple artists, get in touch and we can discuss a custom package.

You should be the artist, rights holder, or authorised to submit the song on their behalf. By purchasing an Artist Feature, you confirm that you have the necessary authority to provide the music and any associated materials for the agreed content.
